Meet Captain William
Captain William has spent a lifetime on the waters of Long Beach, California, developing the kind of deep local knowledge that only comes with experience. From studying the tides and currents to tracking seasonal migrations of fish, he knows exactly where to go and when to be there. Guests often remark on his calm, patient approach and his ability to make every trip both educational and exciting. With Captain William at the helm, anglers can feel confident they are fishing with a true professional who lives and breathes the local waters.
Raised near the Southern California coast, William grew up fishing everything from rocky inshore structures to offshore blue water. Over the years, he has mastered techniques such as trolling, drifting, jigging, popping, bottom fishing, and even kite fishing. His versatility allows him to adapt each trip to the season and the targeted species—whether that means chasing yellowtail amberjack in summer, dropping for rockfish in winter, or heading offshore for tuna and mahi mahi when warm currents arrive.
What sets Captain William apart is his ability to connect with all types of anglers. Hardcore fishermen appreciate his technical skills and strategic approach, while families and beginners value his patience and friendliness. He enjoys teaching kids the basics, guiding first-time anglers through their first catch, and working with seasoned guests to fine-tune advanced techniques. His goal is always the same: to ensure every guest leaves with not just fish, but also lasting memories of time spent on the water.
The Boat

A first mate is often on board to assist with bait, tackle, and fish handling, so guests can focus on the excitement of fishing. Clean, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for Southern California waters, this boat is the ideal platform for everything from family-friendly outings to serious sportfishing trips off the coast of Long Beach.
